So she’s been raised as a ward of King Steam in the Steamman Free State, far away from the potential perils of her home in the Jackelian Kingdom.

Raised in relative solitude among the machine race . . . until an old friend of the family, the steamman scientist Coppertracks, turns up in the capital with news of the most amazing discovery. It will set Seline and her companions off on a dangerous adventure to the mysterious and distant Mightadore.

But, nobody has ever come back alive from the trip to describe what they found!

I was gobsmacked by Stephen’s Mission to Mightadore – I am not one to be easily impressed but this book had me hooked from start to finish.

The story follows Seline Templar, a young woman who embarks on a dangerous journey in time. She’s a fierce and determined heroine who isn’t afraid to take risks and fight for what she believes in. what really sets this book apart is its unique blend of fantasy and steampunk elements. From the steamman scientist Coppertracks to the wondrous machines of the Steamman Free State, the world that Hunt has created is both imaginative and immersive. And the action-packed plot keeps you on the edge of your seat, with plenty of twists and turns to keep you guessing.

It’s like going on a real adventure.Seline Templar has had a difficult upbringing, what with the suspicious death of her father and the disappearance of her mother. But at least she’s protected from harm because she’s King Steam’s ward, right? Wrong. Seline and her friends go on a perilous voyage to another world and another time when an old family friend, Coppertracks returns with word of an astounding find. Seline and her team arent cowards, though. Their path is littered with dangers from dangerous monsters to hazardous ground. Yes there are some unexpected turns that kept me on the edge of my seat. This fantasy adventure novel is a must-read for any reader who enjoys the genre.
