When you do what you love, you'll never have to work another day in your life. The main downside is the lack of of working with a team to help keep you sane. Maybe that explains my novels?

I still love reading, although I often sup outside my key genres that I create within. When I read SF/F books these days, it's a little like being a chef in someone else's restaurant. Your meal is self-spoiled thinking, 'Well, I wouldn't have cooked it like that. They should have...'

I still enjoy sketching and illustration, but am a little sad to find that A.I tools can now draw better than me. How long until ChatGPT version 50.1 puts me out of business? Only time will tell.

Cycling & Gym

I am trying to hold the ravages of age at bay, now, by exercising far more than I ever did when I was a young pup. I think it's a losing battle, but what the heck! Maybe I'll live forever? But probably not.

Photography & Video

I am working up my nerve to launch a youtube channel, and indulge my amateur Steven Spielberg hobbyist inclinations. Let's see if I scrape together enough time to get that particular airship into the sky.

I still help out on the technical coding and system support for the first online magazine, - luckily it's now on a well-supported CMS, rather than my early home-coded efforts, which I am sure all the writers and other volunteers are happy about.
