Escape from Amazonia: or, How I launched my Rebel Bookstore...

Friends, readers, adventurers of literary space operas and fantastic tales—gather 'round, for I have exciting news. Today, after years of dancing like a caffeinated monkey for certain mega-corporations (cough Amazon cough), I've broken free and launched my own indie bookshop under my freshly minted imprint: Green Nebula Publishing.

Why, I hear you all ask? Well, let me tell you.

Have you ever tried selling a book on Amazon? It's a bit like applying to join a secret society or campus fraternity that holds you in contempt. First, you navigate a maze of bewildering rules so complex they make the plot twists in my novels look straightforward. Then, you're subject to the whims of an algorithm that, if displeased, can fling you into obscurity faster than you can say, "Kindle Direct Publishing."

But the absolute worst? Handing over most of your hard-earned royalties to someone who probably spends it on rocket fuel and secret volcanic base real estate (purely speculation, of course).

Hence, yours truly's indie imprint Green Nebula Publishing was born. Now given digital insubstantiation via this here cosy digital shopfront—hosted with Payhip—where you can snag my stories in all their multifaceted forms: instant e-books for those who can't wait, sturdy hardbacks perfect for bookshelves and subtle bragging, trusty paperbacks built to withstand beach sand and spilt tea, and audiobooks cost-effectively. A.I. narrated so you can safely absorb deep space battles while stuck in your Skoda on the M25.

And the beauty of it all? Instead of padding the pockets of corporate overlords (who undoubtedly stroke white felines while plotting a little more world domination than they already possess), your support goes directly to me, the humble author. Which means more time writing and less time performing interpretive dance routines to please the retail overlords.

So join me, brave readers, in this small act of rebellion. Let’s prove that authors don’t need space-faring billionaires and their luxury aircraft carrier-sized yachts—we just need passionate readers and great stories.

Check out everything I'm scribbling through my imprint, Green Nebula Publishing, because sticking it to the corporate villains never felt so satisfying.
