Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows

There’s a new trailer for the film Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, Robert Downey Jr.’s second time in the role of the famous deerstalker-wearing one. Professor Moriarty is the baddie. Now this is one movie I am so going to see.

In many ways, my 4th novel, ‘Secrets of the Fire Sea‘ was my own tribute to Sherlock. And you’ll be glad to know that Jethro Daunt, consulting detective, and his steamman assistant Boxiron, will be returning in my 6th book, ‘The Deep Dark’ (2012).

I am an author of various fantasy, science fiction, crime and other genre books from Gollancz, Hachette and HarperCollins. Some day I hope to grow up and be an astronaut. Exploring Mars would be nice.
